Creating Contact Forms in HTML with AidaForm Online Form Builder

Creating Contact Forms in HTML with AidaForm Online Form Builder: One of the more popular ways to create contact forms is to find ‘readymade’ forms and templates then tweak them. That isn’t as easy as it sounds unfortunately, and to do it effectively you’ll need to be able to rewrite parts of the HTML, CSS and PHP code.

To create your own custom contact forms from scratch may seem difficult at first, and if you were writing the code manually it certainly would be. However there is a much easier way in the form of the AidaForm Online Form Builder.

How it Works

Essentially AidaForm is a graphical tool to create online forms that is intuitive and user-friendly. It is also free, and if you haven’t already done so you should register for an account and log in so that you can get started.

After you do that, learning how to create a form in HTML is straightforward enough, and will just take a few steps:

1. Start to create the form and choose a template

Click on the ‘Create a Form’ button in the members’ area and choose one of the templates that are available. It is possible to select a blank template, and in any case you can add, remove, and rearrange the fields later.

Once you’re done just type in the name of your contact form and click ‘Create’.

2. Customize the structure of the contact form

In the Form Editor, open the ‘Form Elements’ section to add any types of fields that you want – including the name, email address and text field that is standard for contact forms. The graphical interface will make it easy for you to arrange the blocks of fields and customize its structure.

It is possible to edit each field further, and customize its label, hint, and other settings as well.

3. Select and customize a theme

Open the ‘Form Designer’ section and select a theme to customize the appearance of your form. If you want you can customize the fonts and colors, or even add a logo or some other image to your contact form.

4. Publish the form

When you’re satisfied with the contact form that you’ve created click ‘Publish’ and select the option you want to use. If you want to copy and paste the HTML embed code you can export it at this point, or you could choose to link directly to the form instead.

All in all it shouldn’t take more than a few minutes for you to create any contact form by following the steps described above. If you have more time than that, you could explore the features in AidaForm further, and see how they can be used to create a wide variety of other types of forms too.
