The percentile cut-offs are decided by each of the admitting institutes on the basis of which candidates are admitted to MBA or PGDM courses. The CAT Cutoff for IIMs and Non-IIM colleges in India will be released by the institutes on their websites very soon. Candidates can check their scores to decide which institutes they will be eligible to apply. CAT 2018 score will be valid for the academic session 2019-2021.

For the newer IIMs (IIM Sambalpur, IIM Ranchi, Raipur, Rohtak, Udaipur, Trichy and Kashipur) and several other leading institutes, cutoff can be around 90 percentile or above.

For tier two to four management institutes, cutoff can be around 80 percentile. Candidates will have to clear the overall cutoff as well as the sectional cut-off declared by the B-Schools to be eligible for admission.

CAT cut off varies for General, SC, ST and PWD candidates. The cut off for General candidates are higher, around 90 to 100 percentile for the IIMs. The reserved category candidates have some relaxation on their cut-off.

Admission to Top B-Schools
